Sony PlayStation Vita: Further Review about the PS Vita

PlayStation Vita is finally chosen by Sony as the new name of the successor to the PSP handheld console. Let's find out more capabilities of Vita, that means life in the Latin language.

In terms of variants, there are two versions of the PS Vita. First, the version that only use Wi-Fi, the price is $249. Meanwhile, for the equipped with 3G connectivity the price is $299.

Armed with a 5-inch OLED panel, this portable console wrapped in a plastic material which makes it lighter than the PSP but it feels heavier than Smartphone.


New controls include dual analog sticks, three-axis
gyroscope and accelerometer and 2 cameras.
The start, select and power button is now designed with shiny glossy material, combined with plastic materials. Compared to the PSP or dual shock 3 joystick, generally the size of the directional keys seems smaller but still comfortable.

On the back, there is a connection port such as USB or network cable. Transparent button on the right and the left seem not much different size with the PSP. The different is, PlayStation Vita also has a multitouch touch screen buttons on the back. Some new games can take advantage of this feature.

Affairs of the graphics, the PS Vita has a quality equivalent to the PS3. This handheld console armed with ARM Cortex A9 processor (4core) CPU, GPU + SGX543MP4, and six directions motion-sensing system.
